Eddie Ifft in Train Wreck

Adelaide Fringe, Garden of Unearthly Delights, Rundle Park, Umbrella

Revolution, 9.30pm until March 16

Review by Honey B

Eddie Ifft is the king of the one star review. The US comedian pointed out as much at his latest Adelaide show and while he has a quick wit, it's his "nothing's off limits'' style that divides reviewers and some unsuspecting audience members. Ifft pushes the boundaries and while it might seem like he's just talking random crap he's actually a very talented comedian with a dark, funny and caustic edge. The Californian comedian certainly has our number down and he has some ripping Adelaide insights - his observations are very sharp. He also lets his feelings be known regarding the WA shark culling, we get an insight into a recent trip to India and his bodily functions and he shares some intimate details of his marriage - luckily his wife wasn't in the audience. The only negative to Ifft's latest show is that maybe he could have gone a bit harder - but his shows are definitely not for the faint-hearted.
