Katie Noonan showcases her new music

The gorgeous Katie Noonan is back in 2015 with a new band and a new album. This is the four time ARIA Award-winner's first band project since 2010's acclaimed Emperor's Box  (with The Captains). The new album showcases a richer and fuller sound than Katie's more recent intimate and acoustic sojourns. Premiering material from the new album as well as some favourites, this show marks the beginning of Katie's exciting new musical chapter. Here Katie Noonan answers our Fringe Funny Five questions: Describe your show in three words. "New and lush.'' What made you laugh this week and why was it so funny? "My darling youngest boy Jonah said to me today, 'Mum I love you so much it's actually stupid,'.'' My guilty pleasure is... "A big balls McClaren Vale Shiraz.'' What's the funniest thing an audience member or fan has ever said to you? "Hmmm well I know one of the most awkward moments was when someone recognised me whilst we were sitting completely nude in a Korean bath house sauna - totes weird and awkward!'' Which cartoon character do you best relate to and why? "Well I great up wanting to be a mixture of She-ra Princess of Power and Jem and the Holograms... I certainly have Jem's massive hair!''
